Sarah Skinner is a graduate of Louisiana State University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in English with a writing concentration. She has over 10 years of experience writing for oil and gas Fortune 500 companies. Sarah has extensive knowledge of the energy industry and is a contributing writer for Energies Media. She is a past president of The Children’s Museum of Southwest Louisiana and currently serves on its Board of Directors.

In her over 10 years of experience, she has created lesson plans, instructional guides, assessment tools, step-by-step procedures, and curriculum outlines – work that directly correlates to technical writing by requiring clarity, structure, and audience awareness. These skills have made a seamless transition into the technical documentation required for the energy sector.
